Born in Tokyo in 1964 and raised in Kamakura, Yuji Hasegawa is a highly acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his sophisticated solo performance style, seamlessly blending intricate guitar playing with expressive vocals.
With over three decades of experience, Hasegawa continues to captivate audiences with his unique artistry, earning deep trust from fellow musicians as a rare performer capable of providing full musical support with just one acoustic guitar.

As a solo artist, Hasegawa has released five albums and one single.
His second album, Utamachiism (2001), received widespread praise from top music publications including Player and Music Magazine.
